- Lower price. Offer of merchandise you can buy and have it at home during a week, exceeds whichever internet and common shop. - Delivery speed. It is better than in e-shops, where are often sold goods, which are not in stock, it has to be ordered and you have to wait for it. In auctions is seller obligatory to have merchandise physically available or he/she risks sanction.

Disadvantages

- You buy goods often from more sellers, there doesn’t exist any “collective basket”. If you buy e.g. five CDs from two sellers, you pay postage twice: it becomes dearer especially the cheap goods.
- If you participate in an auction, you have to “fight” with opponents, who want to get the merchandise too – it means, you might not obtain the merchandise you are interested in at last.
